Women's Bible Study
Tuesday May 21 at 9:30 a.m.
All women are cordially invited to the WELCA (Women of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America) Bible study on Tuesday, May 21 at 9:30 a.m.
in the Deacon's Study for 2012-2013 “Gathered by God”. This
study explores some of the reasons or purposes for which we are
“Gathered by God”; among them to learn, to be empowered, and to be
sent as God’s witnesses in a world that was created by God’s own
gathering hand
. Meeting duration is usually about 1˝ to 2 hours, including the Bible
study, time for discussion, fellowship and refreshments
.

weekly Bible study meets each Thursday; "Faith Journey" at 9:30 a.m. in the
Choir Room. All are welcome to join in this opportunity of discovery
and discussion!

Vacation Bible School
June 10-14
9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Lower
the drawbridge! Open the gates! Get ready to charge back in time filled
with kings, kingdoms, castles, and fire-breathing dragons! With Kingdom
Rock, your brave knights and fair maidens will be equipped to put on the
full armor of God so they can stand strong in the battle for truth.
They’ll love the fun songs, the daily skits, and the “Truth or
Error” games. So, mark your calendars for a royally fun time
!
Registration forms for Kingdom Rock are now available for children 3
yrs. (potty trained with previous school experience) thru 12 yrs. of
age. Please call the Preschool at 480-951-3576 or Church Office at
480-948-6050, or look for registration forms in the Fellowship Hall or
in the Church Narthex.

Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA
Mission
congregations, established congregations, and ELCA-related ministries
can finance capital building projects with competitively priced loans
and take advantage of comprehensive building-consulting services through
the Mission Investment Fund of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America. Individual members, congregations and ministries of the ELCA
can purchase investments through the fund, earning interest at
competitive rates. With these investments, the Mission
Investment Fund makes loans to help congregations purchase land,
expand their current facilities or begin new building projects that
directly benefit their members and surrounding communities. Currently, the
Mission Investment Fund has nearly 800 active loans totaling over $450
million to ELCA ministries throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and
