One of the easiest and most painless ways you can help Ascension is the eScrip Program. With eScrip, Ascension receives a percentage of purchases every time you shop at certain community retailers and grocery stores.

Here's how to get started:

1.        Register your Safeway Club card with the church office.

2.        Register all of your current debit and credit cards with the church office.

Your registered credit or debit cards also earn contributions when used at participating merchants, including restaurants such as Claim Jumper, services such as PepBoys, Arizona Republic subscriptions, Orvis, a variety of cruise lines, and many more.

Online Mall

Shop at over 1,000 of your favorite online merchants and earn up to 16% for Ascension. Families that shop through the eScrip Online Mall easily earn hundreds of dollars for their group.

Recyling Programs

The church also benefits when you bring in your used printer ink or toner cartridges, cell phones, iPods, iPhones, and laptops.  In addition to saving our environment, these items are put to good use by being refurbished and given to women's shelters, schools, and charities- all while making money for our church.

GoodSearch Web Search Engine

GoodSearch.com is an internet search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get the same great results as other search engines.  Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter “Ascension Lutheran Church” as the charity you want to support.  Make it your home page so you can access it easily.  And, be sure to spread the word! You can also read about GoodSearch in the NY Times, Oprah Magazine, CNN, and the Wall Street Journal.

With the new Ascension Lutheran Church GoodSearch toolbar, each time you shop at more than 1,300 stores (from Amazon to Zazzle!) a percentage of your purchase is automatically donated to Ascension Lutheran Church – at no cost to you (and you can even save money as the toolbar provides hundreds of great coupons and deals!).  The toolbar also has a search box and each time you search the Internet, about a penny is donated to Ascension Lutheran Church. Albertson's Community Partners

For those who shop at Albertson's, they also offers a rebate program with the use of a keychain Community Partners card when presented to the checkout clerk.  They donate to Ascension only on those purchases when this card is presented.  These keychain cards are available at the Welcome Table in the Narthex or by picking one up at the church office.

Basha's Thanks A Million Program

For those who shop at Basha's, they also offer a rebate program in the Spring by presenting our partner number to the cashier when making purchases.  The partner number is made available in the Spring of each year.  Pick up your partner number on a post-it note in the basket on the Welcome Table in the Narthex to place on your Basha's Thank you card to give to the cashier, or you can call the church office to get yours.

Fry's Cool Cash

For those who shop at Fry's Food Stores, they also offers a rebate program with the use of a Cool Cash barcode which is presented to the checkout clerk.  They donate to Ascension only on those purchases when this card is presented.  These bar codes are available at the Welcome Table in the Narthex or by picking one up at the church office.

Great Lakes Scrip

You regularly shop for groceries, supplies, and clothes.  When you order shopping cards for your personal shopping needs and gifts through Ascension, you help the church earn money!  You get a shopping card from your choice of merchant for the full face value, and the church receives from 4% to 25%! Vendor lists are available in the narthex.  Allow 7-10 days for shipping, or use the reload option online.  Order yours today!
